Final Straw有些人說Echo是慘情樂派，但事實上真正讓我能夠一聽再聽的慘情歌寥寥可數。想了一下大概只有：

“On Your Own”,”The Drugs Don’t Work” – The Verve

“Brokenheart” – Spiritaulized

“There Is No If” – The Cure

“The 2 Of Us” – Suede

“Like A Friend” – Pulp。

（沒有Radiohead的Creep。真的沒有！）

Snow Patrol的Final Straw是我最近難得可以反覆聆聽的一張專輯，最初只是因為會在泰國的Bangkok 100 Rock Festival看他們表演，先買來作一下功課，沒想到就這樣愛上。也許是因為聽了太多遍，今天”Run”這首歌的副歌一直在我腦中盤旋：

Light up, light up

As if you have a choice

Even if you cannot hear my voice

I’ll be right beside you dear

真慘，但真棒。從今天起它也正式列入我的慘情歌單。
